Firefighters Rescue Dog While Battling Beaver Falls Apartment Blaze

BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) -- Firefighters were called out to battle a blaze overnight at an apartment complex in Beaver Falls.

Crews were called to the Morado Dwellings complex around 2:00 a.m. on Saturday.

They were able to get the fire under control around 30 minutes later.

Extensive damage was done to the first floor.

No one was home at the time, and firefighters were able to rescue a dog inside.

No injuries have been reported in the fire, and there's no word on a cause.
