Firefighters Battle Homewood Blaze

HOMEWOOD (KDKA) – Firefighters were called to the scene of a blaze in Homewood Thursday morning.

According to emergency dispatchers, the fire broke out at a home in the 500-block of Oakwood Street in Homewood.

The fire is believed to have started in the attic, but all residents were able to get out of the home safely.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to one room on the second floor of the home.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
