Firefighters Battle Flames In Tarentum

TARENTUM (KDKA) -- Crews rushed to Tarentum on Saturday on report of a fire.

Firefighters arrived around 8 p.m. to find a two-story building on 3rd Avenue completely engulfed in flames.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters reportedly had difficulty due to the weather.

"We had the fire after the worst of the cold weather, but we still have rain, sleet and a lot of the ground is slippery," Eureka Fire Rescue Chief Brad James said.

It is not clear what sparked the fire.
