Building Housing 4 Apartments Destroyed By Fire In Hill District

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The residents of four apartments are homeless after their building caught fire in the Hill District Saturday morning.

A three-alarm fire broke out at the building on Morgan Street. Officials say it housed four apartments. It's unclear exactly how many people lived in the building though.

The building was destroyed by heavy fire, which caused the roof to collapse.

Firefighters also had to work to protect two adjacent buildings from the flames.

No one was injured in the fire, but one resident's cat was unaccounted for.

It's unclear how the fire started.
