Fire Rips Through House In East Deer Township

EAST DEER TOWNSHIP (KDKA)- Fire ripped through a house in East Deer Township early Monday morning.

The fire started just before 4:30 a.m. at a home in the 1000-block of Parsonage Street.

Nearby neighbors were evacuated from their homes because of the intensity of the fire.

It took firefighters about an hour-and-a-half to get this fire under control. They made sure it did not spread to any other homes.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
