Fire Rips Through House & Youth Center In Washington County
DONORA (KDKA)- Firefighters rushed to a quick-spreading fire this morning in Washington County.
The fire started around 1 a.m. inside a vacant house along Thompson Avenue in Donora.
When crews arrived, the fire quickly spread to a youth center next to the home. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from causing too much damage to the center. They say it had minor smoke and water damage.
The vacant house was a total loss.
No one was inside either the home or the center at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
