Fire In Western Pennsylvania Home Kills 1; Cause Sought

WATKINS, Pa. (AP) - Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a house fire claimed the life of an elderly man.

State police in Cambria County say flames engulfed the Watkins home on Friday night and prevented relatives and neighbors from getting inside to help.

Multiple fire departments battled the blaze for hours, and officials said the body of 88-year-old James Barrett wasn't found until 5 a.m. Saturday.
