Fire Destroys Home In New Castle

NEW CASTLE (KDKA) - Two cats were killed in a house fire in New Castle on Wednesday night.

The fire also destroyed the home on Monroe Street.

A woman that lives there said she was preparing part of her Thanksgiving dinner and may have left something on the stove.

She was able to escape safely with her husband along with a third cat.
