Fire Damages Beaver County Company

ECONOMY BOROUGH (KDKA) – A business in Beaver County suffered damage in a fire late Saturday night.

According to officials, the fire broke out at the Economy Tooling Company on Ridge Road Extension around 11:30 p.m.

The fire spread up the chimney to the roof, but most of the damage was contained to an office area.

Officials are investigating if a wood burner in the basement may have been the cause of the fire.

There are no reported injuries.
