Firefighters Battle Blaze Near Hidden Valley Resort
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Emergency responders are on the scene of a house fire near Hidden Valley resort.
It happened around 3 p.m. along Imperial Road.
So far, no injuries have been reported.
Officials at Seven Springs say the house is located on a hillside near the Hidden Valley slopes, but it not "slope side."
However, as a safety precaution, the ski resort immediately shut down the lifts. No one was injured or affected at the ski resort.
The Pennsylvania Winter Special Olympics are being held at the resort today and tomorrow. The games were scheduled until 3:30 p.m. today, but ended slightly early due to the fire.
No word yet on how the fire started.
