Police Investigating Shots Fired Calls In Fineview

FINEVIEW (KDKA) – Police are investigating after several shots were fired in Pittsburgh's Fineview neighborhood early Friday morning.

Police were initially called to the 1800 block of Meadville Street for a shots fired report shortly after 1 a.m.

While nothing was found at that location, officers received word about an SUV with several bullet holes on nearby Sandusky Street.

Security guards from a nearby housing development alerted police about the SUV, which police say, has since been reported stolen.

Through the course of their investigation, police found five shell casings at the intersection of Belleau Drive and Belleau Street.

Police were also called to Belleau Street on Thursday for a report of shots fired.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Zone 1 police station at (412)-323-7201.

Requests to remain anonymous will be honored.
