Fight Escalates At North Side Bar, Ends With Man Being Shot

EAST ALLEGHENY (KDKA)- Pittsburgh Police are investigating a shooting that happened inside a local bar.

Officers were called to Peanutz bar in the 400 block of East Ohio Street in Pittsburgh's East Allegheny neighborhood.

Pittsburgh Police spokeswoman Sonya Toler said two men got into an argument inside the bar. The fight escalated, and one of the men was shot in the back.

Toler says the man was able to get to his car and ended up driving himself to Allegheny General Hospital.

There is no word on the victim's condition this morning.

The suspect in the case ran out of the bar and so far, police haven't been able to track him down.
