Man Shot Multiple Times On Fifth Avenue

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police say a man was shot multiple times in what they believe was a targeted shooting on Fifth Avenue on Monday night.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue in Pittsburgh's Uptown neighborhood.

Police say a man was shot multiple times in the leg and sent to a local hospital. He was last reported to be in stable condition.

Investigators believe it was a targeted shooting.

Fifth Avenue was blocked off to motorists for a period of time while police were on the scene.
