Fayette County Man Charged After Incident At School Bus Stop

CONNELLESVILLE (KDKA)- A Fayette County man faces charges for an incident at a school bus stop.

On Friday, around 3:45 p.m., police say 26-year-old Timmy Sines Jr. tried to pick up his child from the school bus.

The stop was at the corner of West Washington Street and Norton Boulevard in Connellsville.

Police say Sines failed to provide the valid identification to show he was the child's father.

Sines allegedly became irate and when the child was not turned over to him, he started using obscene language, leading to the children on the bus to become upset and start crying.

At one point, police say Sines grabbed a clipboard from the school aide's hand and tossed it across the street.

Sines was charged with disorderly conduct.
