Motorcyclist killed in Westmoreland County crash

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Westmoreland County.

According to Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson, witnesses said Ryan James Gould was going west on Route 380 at a high rate of speed on a motorcycle Monday afternoon.

Carson said Gould failed to negotiate a slight curve and crashed into a guard rail. 

The cause of death was ruled blunt force trauma.
