1 Dead After Two-Vehicle Accident In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- One man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the border of Homewood West and Larimer early Sunday morning.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Frankstown Avenue and Washington Boulevard.

According to initial reports, 23-year-old James Damon Blackburne, of Pittsburgh, tried to make a turn at an intersection while leaving a convenience store parking lot when he collided with another vehicle on Washington Boulevard.

Blackburne's car spun out of control, and Blackburne was ejected from his vehicle. When officers arrived on the scene, Blackburne was pinned under a vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one in the second vehicle was injured.
