Family Of Pipeline Burn Victim: 'It's Just Been [A] Horrible' Experience
SALEM TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- The family of the young man who was severely burned in last month's Westmoreland County gas pipeline explosion spoke to the media for the first time at a demonstration in Salem Township.
The group, Pennsylvanians Against Fracking, are calling for an immediate halt to pipeline infrastructure to "prevent future explosions and tragedies."
Helen and Jeremiah Baker were among those at the protest Monday.
They are the mother and brother of burn victim, James Baker.

The 26-year-old was injured when a 30-inch interstate transmission line ruptured on April 29.
"It's just been horrible. There are days where everything seems like it's going to be ok, then it's back to the beginning again. It's just been the worst two weeks of our lives," Helen Baker told KDKA. "He's very courageous, very strong. After what he's been through – as a family to lose everything – him walking out of that house is amazing."
