False Report Of Tom Cruise Moving To Beaver Co. Goes Viral
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The news hit the Internet and quickly went viral. It took Beaver Falls completely by surprise.
A site called The McKenzie Post posted a dramatic headline that read: "Tom Cruise Moving to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania!"
The site said Cruise has, "tired of the Hollywood lifestyle," and wanted to, "live in a place where people were people."
Facebook was flooded with comments suggesting Cruise must have been drawn in by Oram's doughnuts, D & G's or Pizza Joe's.
But, it's all a hoax.
The McKenzie Post bills itself as, "the premiere fantasy news site in the world."
Its reports that Justin Bieber is moving to a small town in Oregon and that Leonardo DiCaprio is moving to a town in Canada or that Tom Cruise is moving to Des Moines or anywhere else are also not true.
