Crews Respond To Explosions And Fires At Plant In Beaver Co.

KOPPEL, Pa. (KDKA) --- Emergency crews were called to the TMK IPSCO plant in Koppel, Beaver County after multiple explosions early Thursday morning.

The first firefighters were called to the plant around 3 a.m.

According to an emergency official, fires were burning inside a large industrial building.

Firefighters were able to bring the fires under control in about an hour.

No injuries were reported. An emergency official said there was no hazard to the public.
