Erie Man Creates Bucket List For Dog With Terminal Cancer

ERIE, Pa. (KDKA) – After his dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer, an Erie man created a bucket list for the two of them to complete together.

Todd Burchanowski and his dog, Reyes, have dedicated the past few weeks to checking items off.

When Reyes was recently diagnosed with terminal lymphoma, Burchanowski created a bucket list of things he thought she would enjoy doing, including letting her eat at McDonald's and riding on a fire truck.

"When she was first diagnosed, I was... I'm still heart-broken, but this has allowed us to do some things that we never would have had the opportunity to do," he said.

So far, Burchanowski and Reyes have checked off more than 30 items on the bucket list, but they still have more left to do.
