Report: Power Outage In Erie Causes Delay In Scanning Of Mail-In Ballots

ERIE, Pa. (KDKA) - According to a report, a power outage at the Erie County Courthouse has caused a delay in the scanning of mail-in ballots.

Erie News Now reports that the power outage was allegedly caused by a car hitting a utility pole in the city.

While tallying of the votes cannot legally begin until after 8:00 p.m., 33,000 ballots have been received at the courthouse.
