Engaged Couple Accused Of Biting Each Other

DANVILLE, Pa. (AP) - Police in central Pennsylvania say an engaged couple face assault and other charges for an altercation in which they allegedly bit one other.

The Bloomsburg Press Enterprise reported Monday that 23-year-old Darlene Frymoyer of Danville and 22-year-old Joel Whitesell of Catawissa are both accused in the Aug. 17 incident.

The paper says Frymoyer admits she bit him but says he also bit her, on the back, and slammed her down.

Court papers say he admits to slamming her on a roadway. Authorities say he has a bite mark on his neck, and she has one on her right arm.

They're both charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.

Neither had lawyers listed in the online court docket. They didn't have listed phone numbers.
