Man In Critical Condition After North Side Assault

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A man is in critical condition after an assault on the North Side.

Pittsburgh Police say they responded to reports of an assault just after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Eloise Street.

When they arrived, police say they found a man with multiple wounds to the head.

The criminal complaint says a witness saw 49-year-old Lasalle Bradford hit the victim multiple times with a brick.

When asked by police, the victim said he was arguing with Bradford before the assault.

He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in critical condition.

Officers arrested Bradford near Merchant Street and Martindale Street.

He is charged with one count of aggravated assault and is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
