Elderly Woman Pepper-Sprayed In Home Invasion Robbery

SOMERSET COUNTY (KDKA) – Police say an elderly woman was pepper sprayed by two suspects during a home invasion robbery.

It happened on Pleasanthill School Road in Elk Lick Township.

State Police say 25-year-old Renee Hollada, and 34-year-old Joseph Bockes both of Meyersdale asked to use the woman's phone.

Police say after she let them in Hollada pepper-sprayed the woman.

The two then are accused of ransacking the house looking for money and prescription drugs.

Police say they made off with a gun and fled.

Both Hollada and Bockes were arrested a short time later and have been charged with robbery and other charges.

The gun was recovered by police.
