Ed Bouchette: 'Good Teams Don't Lose To Bad Teams'

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan)– 93-7 The Fan Steelers insider and Post-Gazette reporter Ed Bouchette joined "The Fan Morning Show" Monday to look back at the stunning loss to the Jets.

Bouchette explained how the Steelers' losses to the lowly Buccaneers and Jets could be a bad omen for them going forward, despite their 6-4 record.

"You go back and look at 2010- when they went to the Super Bowl- and '08- when they won their last Super Bowl - they didn't lose to any bad teams," Bouchette said. "They had four losses each. Good teams don't lose to bad teams. Now, they're going to put this to the test. They're 6-4. Whether they can make the playoffs by losing both to the Jets and Tampa, I say they can't. There are 11 teams now in the AFC who have four losses or fewer. It's all packed in tight, as it is in the AFC North. And the bad news for the Steelers is they go to have to play at the 2-7 Tennessee Titans this week."

Bouchette joins "The Fan Morning Show" every morning after a Steelers game, usually Mondays at 8 a.m. Next week he will be on the air Tuesday at 7 a.m.
