East Liberty Road Closed Due To Bricks Falling From Building

EAST LIBERTY (KDKA) – A section of Baum Boulevard in East Liberty was shut down after bricks fell off a building.

According to police, the bricks fell from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in the 5800-block of Baum Boulevard.

As a result, the road was closed to pedestrians and vehicles between South Euclid Avenue and South St. Clair Street.

The bricks fell onto the sidewalk a few hit a couple of cars. None of the vehicles' windows were broken and there are no reported injuries.
