Police Find Drugs, Multiple Weapons At New Castle Homes

NEW CASTLE (KDKA) -- Police arrested two men from Michigan this week after finding drugs and weapons in two New Castle homes.

According to police, 33 individually wrapped packages of heroin, along with scales and cash, were found when authorities executed a sealed search warrant at a home in the 1300-block of Croton Avenue on Wednesday.

Darryl Jones, from Detriot, Mich., is facing multiple drug-related charges, including possession with intent to deliver.

Authorities executed another sealed search warrant for a home in the 400-block of E. Reynolds Street on Thursday. They found 12.2 grams of crack cocaine, an assault rifle, two semi-automatic handguns and a revolver, along with cash and scales.

Police say 31-year-old Tristan Morgan, of Detriot, Mich., is facing multiple drug-related charges, including possession with intent to deliver.

A woman in the second home who was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant was also arrested. She has not been identified.
