WATCH: Driver Smashes Truck Into Porch Of Washington Home

WASHINGTON (KDKA) - A Washington home was banged up Saturday morning, when a driver crashed into the porch.

Emily and Sam Papa have lived in the home on Locust Avenue for five years. They were terrified when a loud noise woke them up at 2 a.m.

"My wife woke me up and said 'someone is in the house,'" Sam Papa said.

As the video shows, no one was inside the house.

'She opened the window and saw a truck smashed into our house from the upstairs," Sam said.

Someone had smashed into their home with a Ford F-150. Moments later, the driver stumbled out of the front seat.

"Visually intoxicated. He looked pretty drunk, he fell down twice on his face," Sam said.

The driver was determine to leave. He made his way back into the truck, slamming the F-150 into reverse and tearing back onto the street.

The family is happy that the surveillance video caught the driver red-handed.

The driver eventually turned himself in to police. His identity has not been revealed.

Though angry, Sam Papa said he hopes the driver gets the help he needs.
