Historical Marker Honoring Local Activist Unveiled On North Side

NORTH SIDE (KDKA) -- A historical marker honoring local activist Dorothy Mae Richardson was unveiled Wednesday on the North Side.

Fifty years ago, Richardson helped get banks and government leaders together to revitalize the North Side.

Her efforts laid the groundwork for NeighborWorks America and its network of community development organizations.
