Donald Trump Tells Story About Ben Roethlisberger Killing A Tree With A Golf Ball

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was back on the campaign trail on Monday following his second debate against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton on Sunday night. One of his first stops was the town of Ambridge, PA, about 16 miles northwest of Pittsburgh in the heart of Steelers country. In trying to connect with the local audience, Mr. Trump, as he has done throughout his campaign, told a story involving one of the local athletes. This time, it was Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

Trump told the gathered crowd that he and Ben had golfed together and that Roethlisberger, known for his strength, hit a golf ball so hard into a tree, that he ended up killing the tree.

Now, this story should probably be taken with a grain of salt. But, do you seriously doubt that Big Ben is that strong? It's also worth noting that Mr. Trump still considers Big Ben a friend despite the quarterback refusing to endorse him back in June.
