Dodge Ram Pickup Trucks Recalled Due To Faulty Side Air Bags

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Hundreds of thousands of Dodge Ram pickup trucks are now being recalled due to faulty side air bags.

Stellantis says the recall includes certain Ram 2500 and 3500 heavy-duty pickup trucks from the 2015 through 2020 model years.

The company says the side air bags can explode without warning and hurl shrapnel into the main cabin.

The company says it will notify customers when they can schedule service.
