Delta's New Safety Video Utilizes Internet Memes

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Delta Airlines is getting into awards season by bestowing their own honors.

The airline unveiled a new safety video Sunday, in which Internet memes from the past year are used to convey safety guidelines.

In the five minute video titled "The SAFETYS," awards are given out for things such as "Best Safety-Based Tattoo," "Best Breathing," and "Best Stow In An Overhead Bin."

The video stays entertaining with references to "Doge The Dog," screaming goats and Bucktooth Clancey.

According to a news release, the video will play on Delta airplanes for three months.
