Deer-Hunting Nun Drawing Criticism

ST. MARY'S, Pa. (KDKA) -- A nun from Elk County Catholic High School in St. Mary's, Pa., is drawing criticism for posting a picture posing with a deer she killed.

Sister John Paul Bauer is seen in a picture wearing her habit and holding a ten-point buck she killed on the first day of deer season.

She posted the pictured to the diocese Facebook page, where it was viewed more than a million times.

The Catholic diocese says they took the picture down after complaints from animal rights activists.
