1 killed, 3 injured in Washington County crash

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) - State police are investigating a fatal crash in Washington County. 

Dispatchers said the two-vehicle crash happened on Washington Pike and Indian Camp Road in Independence Township on Wednesday afternoon.  

One person was killed and three people were taken to the hospital. Two of them were flown and one of them was taken by ground. 

The coroner identified the victim as 58-year-old Edward King. The coroner said he was driving eastbound and crashed into another vehicle headed westbound.
