WEST BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) -- State police are investigating a deadly crash in Washington County.

It happened along Clarksville Road in West Bethlehem Township.

Washington County Coroner Tim Warco says the driver, later identified as 36-year-old Brittany Crile, lost control and the vehicle went down an embankment, ejecting her from the car.

In a follow-up news release, Coroner Warco said there was evidence that a passenger was also in the vehicle. The passenger was later identified as 46-year-old Joseph Crile.

Evidence suggested that Joseph Crile was able to leave the crash and was found dead late Sunday afternoon by state police in an empty house not far from the crash site.
