St. Teresa Of Avila Deacon Placed On Leave

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Deacon John C. Miller of St. Teresa of Avila in Ross Township has been placed on administrative leave following allegations of inappropriate contact with a minor.

The Diocese of Pittsburgh confirmed the allegations and said that law enforcement was notified at the time.

This comes after a preliminary investigation was delayed due to what they described as "grave health issues" that affected Deacon Miller.

The case has now been sent to the Vatican for review.
