Crowds Gather Downtown For Annual Holiday Parade

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Lots of people gathered downtown Saturday morning for the annual holiday parade.

The parade ran along Liberty Avenue and through downtown from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Many Pittsburgh icons were there, including the Pirates Parrot, racing Pirates Pierogies and Daniel Tiger.

Hopewell High School's marching band also played some tunes.

And, of course, Santa Claus made an appearance in his sleigh.
