Body Pulled From Yough River Identified As Missing Charleroi Man
PERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Crews spent Wednesday night and early Thursday morning searching for a man who disappeared in the Youghiogheny River.
Josh McKenna, 26, of Charleroi, went missing near the Layton Road area of the river in Perry Township, Fayette County.
Witnesses say he went into the river to retrieve a girl's football and never resurfaced.
A body was pulled from the Yough River early Thursday morning.
According to the medical examiner, the body is that of McKenna.
No other details have been released.
