Crews Respond To 2 Fires At Local Schools

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Fire crews were called to two area schools on Wednesday evening.

In Butler County, firefighters were called to Seneca Valley High School around 6:15 p.m.

According to emergency dispatchers, flames were seen coming from the second floor of a field house in the rear of the school.

There are no reports of injuries.

Crews cleared the scene there around 7:20 p.m.

In Allegheny County, a one-alarm fire sent emergency crews to St. Basil School on Concordia Street around 7 p.m.

There's no word yet on what sparked either fire.
