Crews Battle Flames At Lawrence Co. Mulch Facility
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Firefighters were called to a mulch facility in Lawrence County Sunday.
The fire started at S&S Processing Plant in Taylor Township.
S&S provides top soil, mulch and compost for athletic fields, according to their website.
A post on their website from 2011 says they provided Mulch for Heinz Field, although it's unclear if they currently work with the stadium.
Heavy smoke was reportedly coming from the facility.
No one was injured.
