Crews Battle 2-Alarm Blaze In Carnegie

CARNEGIE (KDKA)- As of 6:30 a.m., crews are still on the scene of a big fire along Ridge Avenue in Carnegie.

It started just after 3 a.m. Friday morning, in the 400-block of Ridge Avenue.

Everyone inside the home was able to escape unharmed.

Dozens of fire trucks responded to the fire.

Along with the flames, they also battled the cold weather. A Port Authority bus was called for, to help with warming the firefighters. As of 6:30 a.m., there was still no bus on the scene.

Crews are still working on the fire and aren't sure what caused it.
