Crash Closes Down Part Of I-79 Near Carnegie Interchange

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Part of Interstate 79 had to be closed down because of a crash Monday afternoon.

Two northbound lanes between the Heidelberg/Collier and Carnegie interchanges were shut down around 4:30 p.m.

There's no word on whether there were any injuries.

The crash was finally cleared around 5 p.m., but drivers were advised to expect residual delays in the area.
