Counting Down The Top 10 Draft Picks Of The Mike Tomlin Era

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Over the next 10 days, Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com will be counting down the "Then Draft Picks Of Note" from the Mike Tomlin era.

Counting down from 10, Larrabee lists Marcus Gilbert as the 10th most notable draft pick Tomlin has made.

Larrabee admits it was tough choosing the 10th spot on the list with guys like Emmanuel Sanders and Jason Worilds on the verge of making the list, but eventually gave the nod to Gilbert over them since he's still with the team and contributing.

The Steelers drafted Gilbert in the 2nd round of the 2011 draft with the 63rd overall pick out of Florida.

Since coming to the Steelers, Gilbert has appeared in 47 games over four seasons, starting 46 of them.
