Cortez Allen Talks About The Impact Of James Harrison Returning
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Steelers cornerback Cortez Allen joined "The Fan Morning Show" on Thursday to talk about the return of James Harrison.
Allen said he's thrilled to see Harrison back with the team.
"It does bring a lot of fire to the locker room," Allen said. "Just his personality, his track record, and what he's done for this organization, for this city. Everybody's excited to have him around, and he's a fun guy to be around, and brings the morale up of the team, even more than what we have. It's a blessing to have him back with us."
Allen said that he wasn't sure what to expect when he first played with Harrison, but came to appreciate what Harrison brings to the table.
"You never really know- at least I didn't know- what you'd get out of him, what kind of personality he was. You just hear the stories," Allen said. "But, when you're actually around him, you get to meet him, get to talk to him, he's a very, very good guy to be around and a great teammate. I'm glad that he's on our side - you know, not the other team's."
