Man Killed In Crash With Garbage Truck Along Robinson Highway

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) -- A 33-year-old man is dead after an early morning crash in Washington County.

The coroner was called to the scene of a crash along Robinson Highway around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The coroner's report says Thomas Hammond was driving down Robinson Highway when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a garbage truck. He wasn't wearing a seatbelt, the coroner says.

The cause and manner of his death are pending. Hammond was pronounced dead at 6:55 a.m.

The McDonald Police Department is investigating.
