Woman found dead at Eleanor Roosevelt Apartments in Aliquippa

Coroner, State Police called to Eleanor Roosevelt Apartments in Aliquippa

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (KDKA) -- A woman was found dead at an apartment high-rise in Beaver County.

Dispatchers said the coroner was called to the Eleanor Roosevelt Apartments along Sheffield Avenue in Aliquippa overnight.

Troopers and Aliquippa police along with paramedics responded to the scene just after midnight. Around 3 a.m., the State Police Forensics Unit arrived.

Police said an autopsy on the 40-year-old is scheduled for later on Wednesday. While the investigation remains open, police said no foul play is suspected at this point.
