"Connor's Cure" Raising Money For Pediatric Brain, Spinal Cancer

A local child's brave battle against cancer inspired a new charity, with some professional wrestling star power behind it.

Connor Michalek of Hampton died earlier this year at the age of 8.

He was a big wrestling fan and over the years, he got to meet many of his favorities.

On one special occasion, WWE arranged for him to travel to Washington D.C. to share the ring with former champion Daniel Bryan.

A week later, Connor and his father were in the front row at WrestleMania to see Bryan with the world title.

Now "Connor's Cure" is raising money for pediatric brain and spinal cancer research. It will also help to provide medical care for children and their families.

If you would like to donate to "Connor's Cure," you can do so at givetochildrens.org.
