Transformer Fire Causes Power Outages, Road Closures In Collier Township

COLLIER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Fire crews are on the scene of a transformer fire in the 1500 block of Washington Pike.
Washington Pike is closed as a result between Collier Town Square and Woltz & Wind Ford.
The fire occurred at the Woodville Duquesne Light Substation.
The cause has not been made available and no word on if it has affected customers.
