Pittsburgh Pirates Recall Cole Tucker From Triple-A

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pirates recalled infielder Cole Tucker from Triple-A Indianapolis.

The team announced the move Friday. Pitcher Geoff Hartlieb was optioned to Triple-A to make room on the roster, the release said.

Tucket hit .196 with eight doubles and two home runs in 112 at-bats in 38 games earlier this season with the Pirates from April 20 to June 8.

In Triple-A this season, Tucker hit .267 and tallied 27 RBIs.
