2 Men Killed In Shootout In Ohio Suburb

MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio (AP) — Two men involved in a shootout with each other on a street in a Cleveland suburb have died from their wounds, authorities said.

But it's not yet known what sparked the gunfire in Maple Heights on Wednesday.

Police responding to a 911 call about a shooting victim found the two men, ages 20 and 23, who each had single gunshot wounds to the chest. Both men were taken to a hospital but were pronounced dead there a short time later. Their names have not been released.

No other injuries were reported in the incident, and it did not appear that anyone else was involved in the shootout, authorities said.
